That Healthy Co.

The owner of That Healthy Co. came to me looking for help in increasing conversion on her site. It was clear to me that her product and branding were both top-notch, and that what she needed was improved UX and storytelling to better display a ton of useful product info and accurately convey her product's benefits to her browsers.


I started by taking the brand's visual guidelines and designing a matching look and feel to layer over a new Shopify theme. I chose a theme that allowed for image-rich storytelling and an ownable, organic feel. Utilizing her brand colors and fonts, I architected a design system that makes use of a more prominent visual hierarchy that allows us to guide users to where we want them on the site. To round out the look and feel, I gave her images a slightly washed out treatment to match the salty, sun-bleached vibe of her brand.

From there I broke down her product page into digestible bits of information to educate users on the products USPs without overwhelming them. I implemented upsells on product pages to help with conversion on some of my client's smaller products, streamlined the site's navigation for intuitive discoverability, and built out the about us story to create an emotional hook with customers.

The result is a modern, conversion-centric e-commerce site with aspirational visual storytelling throughout.
